You're most likely to receive a great deal of wear from the gloves for the reason that they have a hard-wearing and waterproof outside fabric.Tight finger slots
One thing I quite like about these gloves, is how close they fit. The gloves seemed so firm that I needed to check that they were 13" because I thought I'd incorrectly grabbed 12"s. I did in fact have the 13" and they're meant to be snug once you very first put them on. The tight fit will keep your fingers protected against slashes by limiting the chance of your fingers popping out the side. It's worth it putting up with the tight fit even when it may feel a little bit unpleasant. You'll get accustomed to the tight fit and it is the sort of protection that you want from a lacrosse glove. One added bonus with the tiny finger slots is that they obey each tiny movement of the fingers. The gloves nicely adhere to all the hand motions with very little effort.Long-lasting grip with a great feel
Should you choose to have plenty of grip on your handle then get the grip tape out. But I do not see any necessity for it. There are not any sort of add-ons on the fingers or palms for further grip, but you don't need any. You get a fantastic feel of the shaft due to the single-layered palms. Single layered leather suggests that it is marginally thinner which suggests it might wear out quicker. However it doesn't appear so on the Warrior Riot lacrosse gloves. The leather in the beginning seemed soft and began to move nicely shortly after. The palm appeared really flexible and effortlessly shifts with the hand. No doubt about it, they definitely are smooth and at times it feels that you've got absolutely nothing on. You will not have to wait around too long to break the gloves in. The palm performed nicely and I did not notice any problem areas whatsoever. The normal warning signs of deterioration just weren't visible and the leather material was altogether intact. Warrior has put in a few mesh air vents within the palms to keep your hands ventilated. Further contributing to the ventilation, they additionally incorporate a more substantial mesh piece just next to the lower part of the thumb. Everything comes together to keep your palms dry by keeping the air coming in.Not so good features
Your wrists are all they cover
Equipped with shorter cuffs that do not stretch a lot beyond the wrists, the Warrior Riot gloves actually appear to come up a little short in this spot. I'm not really a fan of this and it seems as though the manufacturers will not be reverting in the near future. Less is more looks to be the norm.Removable cuff isn't a great feature
Detachable cuffs do worry me a bit considering that they are simply that, detachable. You obtain much more protection out of a fixed cuff simply because they stay in place for a longer time. There's minimal probability of these uncovering the top of your hand from all the moving about. However, the switchable cuffs are large enough to guard the rear of the wrist and they are also quite firm, consequently there is not a lot of risk of them shifting out from position.Can't leave these wet
You'll need to ensure that you hang the Warrior Riot gloves out in order to get them to last on account that leather palms don't enjoy the wet. A toasty area along with some ventilation is an excellent area to place them. In case the palms do dry out and get hard, massaging them a little will loosen them up.
